As thelocal, on property catering & group contact for social customers, theWeddings Sales Executive is responsible for proactively soliciting and managingsocial group/catering-related opportunities. Prepares all wedding and socialevent documentation and coordinates with hotel departments, and customer toensure consistent, high level service throughout pre-event, event and postevent phases of hotel wedding and social events . Ensures allwedding and social events have a seamless turnover from sales to service backto sales. Actively up sells each business opportunity to maximize revenueopportunity. Achieves personal and team related revenue goals. Ensures businessis turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery.Responsible to learn how to support the hotels Service and RelationshipStrategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughouteach customer experience.

Responsiblefor developing a working knowledge of all departments in the hotel and theirdependence and interaction with the Sales Department. Responsible for drivingcustomer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customerexperience. Proactively prospect for the target customer of the property. Learnproficiency in using Marriott s Customer Focused Sales Call Process and theskill of closing the sale through training and trial. Full understanding ofproperty revenue goals and how to achieve personal and team related revenuegoals. Provide service to our customers in order to grow share of theaccount on behalf of Marriott International, across the enterprise. Partnereffectively with Event Operations to maximize the customer experience of theproperty


Sales &Admin experience, ideally in the UAE market and ability to demonstrate strongclient relationships in the market driving catering and group business throughthe weddings and social segments. Solid sales & account managements skillsare essential, with a strong knowledge of market and businesstrends. A good researcher, negotiator and client focused approach isrequired. The candidate should be able to show strong knowledge ofconstructing and executing sales & client action plans. Thereshould be excellent communication (verbal & written) skills, confidentpresentation ability and a second language would be anadvantage. Direct sales experience is essential (including skills indealing with decision makers), with experience in the social and banquetingsales market a desirable asset.
