Description:

Assist/CIE Associates are responsible for handling queries from Associates across all Departments in our Customer Contact Centres worldwide. They are responsible for providing support and assistance in relation to Sales & Service, SPG, eService, Customer Service, SRS Email Support, @home technical support and escalated calls. Assist/CIE Associates also process Property Communication Forms, provide hotel support and are tasked with reviewing and resolving CIE Files on a daily basis in order to help create long-term loyalty through exceptional customer service to all stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Handle all assist calls and escalated calls via different channels

  • Work closely with other Departments to resolve issues

  • Provide resolution to guests in the eventuality of an error made by a CCC associate

  • Provide Hotel Support

  • Perform Emergency Evacuation warden duties once training has been provided

  • Other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills

  • Professional phone manner, written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously

  • High level of attention to detail is a must

  • Flexibility is essential due to departmental hours of operation (current hours of operation are: Monday-Friday 07:00-00:00 and weekend 07:00-20:30 but these may be subject to change depending on business needs)

  • Preferably a minimum of 6 months experience with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide at CCC level

  • Working knowledge of Navigator, SPG policies and Microsoft Office Suite essential

  • Customer Service Training (including Starguest), KANA Training is preferable although not essential

  • Excellent attendance record is essential and applicants must be in good standing with the company in order to be considered

  • Preferably will have passed probation successfully in current Department and will have met the required standards as outlined above
