Job Description

General Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that each PSH hotel is maximizing revenue opportunities.

  • Perform revenue management and analysis tasks as assigned/required by the DOS.

  • Support the development, implementation and successful attainment of each PSH managed hotel revenue goals.

  • Develop, maintain and ensure compliance with PSH and relevant brand revenue management policies and procedures.

  • Motivate, coach and train PSH General Managers and/or PSH hotel sales team members in revenue maximization techniques and support the DOO in holding GM team members accountable.

  • Support the DOO in holding General Managers effectively accountable for managing and motivating associates and achieving overall revenue results.

  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity, take ownership of personal and team actions, communicate effectively, promote collaboration, nurture a positive, professional work environment, and ensure development of, and adherence to, PSH revenue enhancement policies, protocols and Standard Operating Procedures.

Primary Functions:

  • Support the process of developing, with the leadership of the DOS and the active participation of the PSH General Managers and the corporate team leaders, the annual Marketing Plan for each hotel.

  • Actively participate in and support the process of developing the annual Business Plan for each hotel.

  • Support the implementation of PSH approved Marketing Plan for each hotel.

  • Participate in RFP season for all brands working with DOO and GM to ensure paper pricing for each hotel

  • Participate in One Source, Quick Group and CVent to ensure all hotels are properly responding to all marketing and sales revenue generating leads

  • Develop, implement, maintain, track, and regularly align PSH web sales strategies and regularly publish data and outcomes.

  • Support the development, implementation, maintenance, tracking, and regularly aligning of PSH third party booking channels and sources strategies and regularly publishing data and outcomes.

  • Monitor revenue performance statistics and compare revenue outcomes with budgets, other PSH managed hotel performances and with industry averages.

  • Ensure and excel at compliance with brand revenue programs and tools and provide appropriate training and tracking of the General Managers assigned functions.

  • Analyze Daily Exceptions Reports from GM, research discrepancies and provide data to DOO

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Read daily Emails from PSH General Managers and email any responses as appropriate to the PSH DOO with copies to the PSH President and corporate team leaders.

  • Review daily flash reports, daily activities and revenue outcomes and provide appropriate responses to the DOO.

  • Participate in, and provide support to the corporate leadership team during monthly meetings of Department leaders and General Managers to review operations outcomes, progress and accountability.

  • Track PSH revenue performance standards for each hotel. Performance standards include:

  • Average Daily Rate

  • Occupancy

  • REVPAR

  • Market Share Indices (MSI)

  • Daily, weekly, monthly revenues

  • Perform other revenue functions and analysis as assigned by the DOS or DOO.

  • Minimum 3 years of Hotel industry operations experience
